Our Attorney

Bayside Counsel is a solo law practice owned and operated by California-licensed attorney Mason A. Baldwin, Esq. As a native San Diegan, Mason brings deep local roots and a firsthand understanding of what makes the San Diego business ecosystem unique.

Mason graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law with a certificated concentration in business and corporate law. He began his legal career with a premier securities litigation firm before moving into a General Counsel role, where he managed all legal operations for a growing company from the inside.

Concurrently, Mason served as counsel to several other ventures, gaining hands-on experience with corporate formation, private offerings, bankruptcy, the restaurant industry, the alcoholic beverage industry, and real estate transactions, among other areas.

Mason believes that a good business attorney helps his clients mitigate risk and resolve disputes, but a great business attorney is committed to his client's vision and provides creative solutions to the day-to-day problems that businesses face.

Outside the office, Mason is a native San Diegan through and through. He is happy to have been released from the pain of Chargers fandom but is still tortured by the Padres.
